Can You Wait?

Delay doesn’t mean denial. God may seem silent but He is actually at work in the background! The Psalmist says, “I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry.” Psalms 40:1 (AMP). “I did not give up waiting for the Lord. And He turned to me and heard my cry.” (NLV). Remember, waiting is another way of trusting in God. God is up to something much bigger than you can imagine. So, let go of expectations of how and when God would carry out the promise and feel encouraged despite your discouraging circumstances, because the Lord is at work. Persevere until God responds, because it will definitely be worth the wait!
